Miss Torres

Aside from being an Elementary Educator, I am a Professor for the School of Education at a local University. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Education and Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California. After attending law school in Washington D.C., I realized that I had to follow my own dream. As a result, I earned my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

Even though I teach adults, I enjoy teaching children the best. Their honesty in everyday life is refreshing. Children always keep adults young at heart. They have always brought me so much happiness.

My students really care about each other and their learning. Since some students speak two languages, I remind them to cherish both cultures. As the students acquire more languages, the more they are able to communicate with the world. As for myself, I love learning languages such as Russian, French, and Spanish. You are never too old to learn new things.
