Weekly Information: On Thursday, June 4th, we will have Open House at 5:30 p.m. Students must learn the multiplication facts from 8-12 for the Third Trimester. In mathematics, students will commence chapter 16 and take the exam on Friday. On Friday, students will take the spelling exam, writing exam, and reading exam for “Skylark.” In science, students will complete chapter 7: Magnets.

Monday:
Language Arts: Students create a word search for half of your words.
Blue Group: autumn, reign, design, hasten, sign, bomb, hymn, resign, sighed, knead, wring, aisle, scent, weight, prompt, notch, receipt, sketch, dough, rhombus, neigh, acquaint, fascinate, adjudicate, & judgment
Brown & Green Group: knight, soften, honor, kneel, climb, wrinkle, limb, handsome, answer, calf, listen, calm, knit, often, palm, thumb, wrist, lamb, knob, & honest
Red Group: knight, soften, honor, kneel, climb, wrinkle, limb, handsome, answer, & calf
Mathematics: Students complete Workbook 16-1 (Group1-Reteaching/Group 2-Reteaching/Practice).

Tuesday:
Language Arts: Students write an essay to answer this question. How would you spend a perfect day with your family?
Mathematics: Students complete Workbook 16-3 (Group1-Reteaching/Group 2-Reteaching/Practice).

Wednesday:
Language Arts: Students write an informal outline and begin your essay.
Mathematics: Students complete Workbook 16-5 (Group1-Reteaching/Group 2-Reteaching/Practice).

Thursday:
Language Arts: Students come to Open House. Students study for the reading exam on “Skylark.” Students continue to write your essay. Students read 25 minutes daily.
Mathematics: Students review for the Ch. 16 exam.

Friday:
Language Arts: Students complete your essay.
Mathematics: Students study multiplication or division facts.
